About 75% of menopausal women experience hot flashes. Every woman's experience of hot flashes is different. They can be absolutely unpredictable or occur like clockwork; they can last but a second or two for several minutes. Ginseng and sage are excellent herbs for hot flashes. Ginseng normalizes the body's response to hot and cold. Sage is a yang, or grounding, herb, and many women have found it helpful in relieving hot flashes.

Ingredients: Black Cohosh, Motherwort, Sage, Blue Vervain, Chaste Tree Berry

1 tsp per 1 cup hot water, steep 30 minutes. Drink in 1/4 cup doses up to 3 cups a day
